Festive Crafting

November bought a lively evening of festive crafting with two activities led by Hannah and Jane. Hannah demonstrated lovely festive jars for candles, sweets or flowers and members were let lose with glue, pretty paper napkins and ribbons to create their own version to take home. Jane then led everyone tying red and green wool around cardboard rings that with a clever twist and a few knots produced a sweet little bobble hat decoration for the Christmas tree.

As always on these creative evenings there was a lively buzz of conversation as people worked on their projects and everyone seemed very pleased with the resulting bits and pieces that they took home. After refreshments from Caroline and Sue we did the raffle and notices. It was lovely to have 5 new visitors for the evening - we look forward to seeing them next month at our shared supper.
