Village Picnic.

It is traditional for our July meeting to be a bring and share supper and it takes place somewhere other than the Village Hall. This year Penny, who has a beautiful lake nestled in the woods not far from Stedham, very generously hosted us. We were greeted with a lovely summery glass of Pimm’s and food contributions meant trestle tables laden with delicious salads, flans, sausage rolls and plenty of deserts with an array of summer fruits and cream! Picnic tables set out by the side of the lake meant there was plenty of room for catching up with our friends and a few adventurous souls even took a rowing boat out across the lake!

WI business was quickly carried out, including birthday posies and notices, leaving as much time as possible for socializing. Thank you very much Penny for hosting such a lovely evening.
