Christmas Crafting

Hannah and Jane led members in two crafting activities this month. With a lovely buzz of chatter and much laughter everyone settled onto two tables where they either made a clove decorated orange or two Christmas decorations made from old buttons. Although the cloves proved challenging for some tender fingers everyone enjoyed the lovely festive aroma and thought up a wide variety of designs. Half way through the evening everyone moved seats and swapped activities. The button threading took a bit more concentration as the buttons needed arranging in order before the threading began if you wanted a pretty little Christmas tree at the end. The button wreathes were easier so long as you kept hold of the wire at both ends!!

The lively chatter continued over refreshments and the usual raffle before everyone headed off to their Christmas celebrations.
