Christmas Party Let Down

We were really looking forward to hosting an evening of crafting and festive fun. Refreshments had been planned, raffle prizes prepared, Christmas cards written and materials gathered ready to welcome everyone to the hall. Sadly, after announcements from the government about recommended behaviour on the lead up to Christmas and exposure to the Omicron variant, we decided it would not be sensible to go ahead.

In the following week the committee delivered Christmas gifts to all our members and were pleased to at least have a little chat on people’s doorsteps about plans to meet up with families over the Christmas period. We hope you all managed to do whatever you had planned. Here’s to 2022 and hopefully a chance to gather on a regular basis.
