AGM - November 2021

The main focus of the November meeting was the Annual General Meeting, the first one since 2019!

Emma Blumlein was unanimously re-elected as our President with Sally Tinson as our Secretary and Hannah Raishbrook as our Treasurer. The remaining Committee members also agreed to continue for a further year and were re-elected.

Sally gave a review of the last 18 months, highlighting the efforts that had been made during the pandemic to try and keep in contact with all our members whilst meetings were put on hold, including making phone calls to everyone, regular emails, sending birthday cards and delivering flowers at Easter and Christmas. We’d been able to meet outside a couple of times which everyone that attended had enjoyed.

With the main business of the night completed, members enjoyed tea and homemade cakes provided by Vanessa and Linda before perusing the Sale Table which consisted of lots of lovely edible goodies ranging from homemade biscuits to mulled wine and lots of chocolates!!

Thanks to everyone who donated the items, we raised over £50!
