Last Minute Beetle Drive!

A last minute cancellation from our speaker in April meant the committee had to step in and provide the entertainment at the delayed Christmas Party, opting to organise another beetle drive following the success of the last one! Playing in groups of four it was a race to throw a 6 to get started and be the first to complete the beetle and win a prize! The room was filled with the sound of the dice crashing on the tables, sighs of “oh I’ve already got that” and much laughter.

A lovely selection of cheese and biscuits was served half way through the evening as members enjoyed catching up over a glass of wine or two. Then it was time for another couple of rounds of Beetle before the fresh fruit themed raffle was drawn and posies presented to members celebrating birthdays in April.
