Hurrah, at last! After three failed attempts at having an outdoor get together, the day finally arrived for our summer party and the weather was set to be dry at least.

Throughout the year the committee have been meeting regularly where possible

Thanks to Chris’ great efforts the walking group has managed to continue throughout the year.

On Thursday 20th August at 3pm we finally held a meeting on the village green. After five months of lockdown we had a lot of catching up to do!

It is traditional for our July meeting to be a bring and share supper and it takes place somewhere other than the Village Hall.

Our last meeting of the year was a fun filled beetle drive with a Christmas theme.

The November meeting focussed on the Annual General Meeting and the election of the President and her committee.

This month’s meeting included a very entertaining film show kindly provided by Martin West, a silent movie enthusiast.

Our Centenary Year celebrations continued into August with a tea party on the Village Green.
