Resolution Evening
Our May meeting was our regular resolution meeting where we usually discuss a number of resolutions and decide what we would like to go forward. This evening, however we were asked to consider a single resolution - Clean Rivers for People and Wildlife.
Body Through the Porthole
Our April meeting included a visit from Steve Herra who presented us with a very entertaining tale of desire, death and deceit.
What’s in a View?
In March we welcomed Bill Avenell back to the hall for a very entertaining talk about a selection of views in West Sussex.
Canine Partners
Our February meeting included a visit from Canine partners who gave us a very interesting talk about all that they do.
Below Stairs
We started the new year with a visit from Timespan Historical Presentations who told us all about Life Below Stairs in 1880 - 1914.
Christmas Crafting
Our December meeting was lead by Hannah who introduced us all to Corn Craft. She had made an amazing display of decorations to show us how the craft can be developed before we all settled down to have a go ourselves.
Grannies can do anything!
This month we were treated to a very inspirational talk by Tess Burrows, an amazingly fit and energetic grannie who had decided to pour her energies into making a difference to the world for the benefit of her grandchildren.
Caroline saves the day!
Unfortunately our plan for our October meeting was thwarted yet again by Covid when Hattie and Flo had to cancel their talk at two day’s notice. We were all very disappointed of course but our member Caroline stepped in to lead a very enjoyable ‘Teabag folding’ workshop.
Bignor Roman Villa
It was good to be back together for the start of the Autumn season and we were treated to a really interesting talk about Bignor Roman Villa.
Croquet evening
Everyone really enjoyed our visit to Duncton Croquet club on a beautiful summer’s evening.
Stedham Jubilee Celebrations
Members of the Stedham WI contributed a wonderful selection of cakes for the Stedham Village Jubilee event on Sunday 5th June.
Beeswax Candle Making
Feeling really back into routine and with increasingly more members feeling able to return to our meetings the hall was busy for this creative evening
Last Minute Beetle Drive!
A last minute cancellation from our speaker in April meant the committee had to step in and provide the entertainment at the delayed Christmas Party, opting to organise another beetle drive
Felting Workshop
Susan Hemmings led us in a really entertaining workshop in March. After a brief introduction and a chance to see some examples of Susan’s work we opened our felting kits
The Crop Circle Mystery
We had a stimulating evening this month with a talk by Andy Thomas, a passionate and knowledgeable researcher who told us all about crop circles.
Quiz Night
It was great to back to normal meetings and everyone was keen to join in the fun.

The main focus of the November meeting was the Annual General Meeting, the first one since 2019!

Susan Howe talked to us about life on a super yacht and running a small hotel.
